A Lifetime in the Industry — Passion That Started Young

Founder Don Smith has been under the hood since he was just 16 years old. From early on, he had a natural gift for mechanical work and a passion for solving problems that others couldn’t. By 18, he was already performing roadside tows, helping neighbors and stranded drivers with quick, affordable service. What began as a one-man operation eventually grew into the trusted repair shop and towing service it is today.

In 2020, Don turned his lifelong calling into a full-fledged business: Don Smith Repair & Towing. With over 25 years of real-world experience and a loyal customer base behind him, Don has built a reputation for fair pricing, fast service, and no-nonsense solutions.

A Family-Owned Auto Repair Shop Built on Integrity, Experience, and Hard Work

At Don Smith Repair & Towing, we don’t just fix cars — we build lasting relationships with the people who drive them. Our shop was founded on the belief that honest, quality auto repair should be accessible and dependable. Based in Watsontown, Pennsylvania, we proudly serve local drivers with a full range of mechanical repairs, maintenance, 24/7 towing, and emergency roadside assistance.

As a family-owned business with deep roots in the community, we treat every vehicle like it’s our own — and every customer like family.

Auto Repair & Maintenance

From minor fixes to major mechanical issues, our certified technicians provide high-quality repairs and diagnostics for all makes and models. We use advanced tools and equipment to get to the root of the problem fast — and fix it right the first time.

Towing Services

Need a tow? Day or night, we’re on-call and ready to respond fast. Whether you’ve been in an accident, your car won’t start, or you’re stranded on the highway, our Watsontown towing service is just a call away.

Emergency Roadside Assistance

Stranded with a dead battery or locked out of your car? Don Smith Repair & Towing offers fast and affordable roadside assistance throughout Watsontown and the surrounding areas. Our roadside team is available 24/7 to get you back on the road safely — no membership required.
